VOXI referral code: get a gift card worth up to £40

TL;DR: key takeaways

How the VOXI referral works in 2026: which voucher you can pick (Amazon, PayPal, Just Eat), how the value scales with your plan, the two-month qualifying period, and what to do if your gift card doesn't arrive.

If you just need the link, you can get your VOXI referral code here.

Affiliate disclosure: this post contains a VOXI referral link. If you use it, you get a gift card worth up to £40 after your second monthly bill. I also receive a voucher. It doesn't change the price you pay or the plan you receive.

If you're about to sign up to VOXI, the referral link is the obvious starting point: it costs you nothing and lands a gift card worth up to £40 once you've paid for two months. You can take the voucher as Amazon, PayPal, or Just Eat credit.

This post is the narrow how-to. For the "is VOXI actually any good?" question, see my VOXI review. For the live referral link and the current voucher terms, see the VOXI referral page.

How the gift card works

The reward is a single voucher paid out after your second monthly bill. You and the person who referred you each get one.

A few things to know up front:

  • Voucher type is your pick. When the reward triggers, you choose Amazon, PayPal cash, or Just Eat credit. PayPal is the most flexible (cash to your bank); Amazon is the most useful if you'd have spent on Amazon anyway; Just Eat is the most "fun money" option.
  • The voucher value scales with your plan. Higher-tier plans (£15+) earn a bigger voucher than the entry £10 / 20GB tier. The £40 cap applies at the top of the plan ladder.
  • It's one voucher per qualifying referral. No tiered top-ups, no "extra £10 if you stay 6 months", no compounding rewards. You get the voucher, the referrer gets a voucher, and the scheme is done for that signup.

The claim flow

Five steps:

  1. Click a referral link to start the signup. As with most referral schemes, the link does the attribution: there's no code to enter at checkout. If you arrive at voxi.co.uk via a referral URL, you're tagged as a referred customer.
  2. Pick your plan and complete the order. VOXI is a no-credit-check, 30-day rolling network, so the signup is quick: a few personal details, your payment method for the monthly bill, and a delivery address for the SIM.
  3. Activate the SIM when it arrives. SIMs are usually delivered within 2–3 working days.
  4. Pay your first monthly bill. This is your first qualifying cycle.
  5. Pay your second monthly bill. When this bill clears, the gift card reward triggers. You'll get an email with the voucher options and a link to pick which type you want.

In practice that's roughly 60–65 days from signup to voucher in your inbox.

Bringing your number across (PAC)

Most people switching to VOXI want to keep their existing number. The flow is the standard UK port:

  1. Text PAC to 65075 from your current phone (free). This is the legally-mandated text-to-switch shortcode.
  2. You'll get a PAC code by text within a couple of minutes, plus a summary of any exit fees from your current contract.
  3. Enter the PAC code during VOXI activation (there's a dedicated step in the activation flow).
  4. Your number transfers within one working day, usually overnight.

Two things worth knowing:

  • Your old contract ends automatically when the number ports. You don't need to ring your old network to cancel separately.
  • PAC codes are valid for 30 days. If you don't activate within the window, request a fresh one.

You can also activate with a brand-new VOXI number and skip the PAC step entirely.

When does the gift card actually arrive

The trigger is your second monthly payment clearing. From there:

  • The email lands within a few days of the second bill being paid. It's sent to the address on your VOXI account, not to a referral-tracking inbox: check the VOXI account email if you've forgotten which address you used.
  • The voucher itself arrives by email once you've picked your type. Amazon and Just Eat vouchers come as a code; PayPal payouts go to the email address you've nominated.
  • PayPal payouts take 1–3 business days to land in your bank if you withdraw immediately.

If you signed up on the 5th of the month and your billing date is the 5th, your second bill clears roughly 60 days after signup. The voucher email tends to follow within a week of that.

What to do if the gift card doesn't appear

If you've paid your second bill and you haven't seen a voucher email within 10–14 days, one of three things is usually the cause:

  1. You signed up directly on voxi.co.uk without clicking the referral link. The referral is attributed at the order step, not after. Direct signups are unreferred, and there's no retroactive way to add a code. The voucher isn't recoverable in that case.
  2. The second bill hasn't actually cleared yet. If your payment is sitting in "pending" with VOXI (failed card, retry in progress, mid-billing-cycle change), the qualifying period doesn't tick over until the bill is marked paid. Check the billing history in the VOXI app.
  3. The email went to spam. The voucher email comes from a third-party fulfilment provider, not from voxi.co.uk, so it can land in promotions or junk folders. Search for "VOXI" and the voucher partner name (Amazon, PayPal, Just Eat) in spam.

If none of those apply, the VOXI in-app chat is the right place to raise it. They'll look up the referral attribution against your account and either pay the voucher out or explain why the referral didn't qualify.

Eligibility and the small print

A few things worth checking before you order:

  • You must be a new VOXI customer. Existing customers (including recently-closed accounts) don't qualify for the referral reward on a new SIM.
  • You need to stay active for two billing cycles. Cancelling mid-month before the second bill voids the reward for both sides of the referral.
  • The voucher is a one-shot. There's no recurring referral payment for staying longer.
  • VOXI sometimes runs a "3x Data" or "4x Data" promotion on top of the standard plans (e.g. the £10 / 20GB plan currently shows 60GB advertised; the £15 / 35GB plan shows 140GB). The promo applies automatically when you sign up during the active window and is separate from the referral reward.
  • You can use any valid VOXI referral link, not specifically mine. If a friend has shared a link with you, use theirs. The voucher value is the same.

Is VOXI the right network for you?

In short: yes if you're a heavy social-media data user. VOXI bundles unlimited Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp, Snapchat, X and Facebook on every plan, runs on Vodafone's full network, and has been a Which? Recommended Provider for four consecutive years.

If you barely use social media and pure price is what you're optimising for, giffgaff is cheaper at every tier. VOXI's £10 / 20GB entry plan is double giffgaff's £6 / 2GB and a couple of pounds above giffgaff's £8 / 5GB equivalent; the gap doesn't close at the upper tiers.

VOXI referral FAQs

How much is a VOXI referral worth?

A gift card worth up to £40, paid out after you've cleared two monthly bills. The exact value scales with the plan you pick: higher-tier plans (£15+) earn a bigger voucher than the £10 / 20GB entry plan. You can take the voucher as Amazon, PayPal cash, or Just Eat credit.

When does the VOXI gift card arrive?

After your second monthly bill clears, which is roughly 60–65 days after signup. The voucher email usually lands within a week of the second bill being paid, sent to the email address on your VOXI account from a third-party fulfilment provider (check spam if you don't see it).

Can I withdraw the voucher as cash?

Yes, if you pick the PayPal option. PayPal payouts can be withdrawn to your bank account in 1–3 business days. Amazon and Just Eat vouchers are spend-only on those platforms.

Do I need a credit check to sign up?

No. VOXI doesn't run a credit check at signup. Plans are 30-day rolling with no long-term contract, so there's no credit agreement involved.

What if I cancel my plan before the second bill?

The reward voids for both sides. The qualifying period is two billing cycles, so cancelling at month 1 means neither you nor the referrer gets a voucher. If you're not sure whether you'll stay, take the £10 entry plan first: it's the cheapest way to satisfy the qualifying period.

Yes. The referral link and the PAC code (number porting) flow are independent. You can use a referral link to order a SIM and bring your existing number across by entering your PAC code at activation. The transfer typically completes within one working day.

Is the VOXI referral better than giffgaff's?

By voucher value, yes: up to £40 vs giffgaff's £15 cap. By speed, no: giffgaff's £5 lands on activation (within 24 hours), while VOXI's voucher needs two billing cycles to qualify. For a side-by-side, see VOXI vs giffgaff: which mobile referral is better?.
