VOXI referral code: refer a friend for up to £40 in vouchers

Get an Amazon, PayPal, or Just Eat voucher worth up to £40 when you join VOXI using a refer-a-friend link: rewards are doubled until 7 October 2026.

VOXI's refer-a-friend scheme (branded Friends with Benefits) pays both parties a voucher (Amazon, PayPal, or Just Eat), released after the new customer's second monthly bill clears. The standard cap is £20, but VOXI's Double Rewards promotion lifts it to £40 for referrals made between 7 July and 7 October 2026. I joined VOXI in 2023 on a friend's code, and the voucher landed on both sides once I'd paid two months. The reward scales with the plan you choose.

My rating for this deal

This rates the VOXI referral itself: what you get, what you have to do to get it, and how long it takes to arrive. It isn’t a rating of VOXI as a company.

Why this rating

Two paid months is a low bar for a voucher you can spend outside the network, and I joined on a friend’s code myself, so I have watched this one pay both sides. It stops short of the energy schemes because a voucher is not money, and the higher rate is a promotion with an end date rather than the standing offer.

VOXI referral pros and cons

Pros

  • Unlimited social media data on all plans: does not come out of your allowance
  • 30-day rolling contracts with no long-term commitment
  • Runs on the Vodafone network with wide UK coverage
  • 79% customer score at Which?, joint 3rd of the 15 networks it surveyed
  • Plans start from as little as £10/month
  • Voucher referral reward worth up to £40 during the Double Rewards promo (normally up to £20)

Cons

  • Trustpilot score of 3.2 is below average, with mixed customer service reviews
  • Referral reward requires staying for 2 months before it is paid
  • 5G access is not available on all plans
  • No physical stores: support is online and app-based only

What is VOXI?

VOXI is a Vodafone-owned mobile network offering unlimited social media data on all plans. Apps like Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp don't count towards your allowance. Plans start at £10/month on 30-day rolling contracts. Which? scored it 79%, joint 3rd of 15.

The network is Vodafone's own, so the coverage is what you would get going direct. The exempt list runs to Snapchat and Facebook as well as the three most people name. Vodafone built VOXI for younger and social-heavy customers, which is why the plan shapes look the way they do.

How does the VOXI refer a friend scheme work?

Sign up via a VOXI referral link and receive an Amazon, PayPal, or Just Eat voucher after paying for your second month: worth up to £40 until 7 October 2026 under the Double Rewards promotion, normally up to £20. Higher-value plans earn higher vouchers. Both you and the referrer receive a reward.

The qualifying period is two billing cycles, not two calendar months, and once the reward unlocks you have 90 days to pick which voucher you want. The Double Rewards promotion runs from 7 July 2026; referrals made outside that window fall back to the standard cap.

Who is VOXI best for?

VOXI is best for heavy social media users. If most of your data goes to TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, the unlimited social media perk gives you far more usable data. Also suits students and anyone wanting a no-commitment 30-day plan.

The practical effect is that the headline data number understates what you actually get, because the apps that eat the most of it are the ones that do not count. And every plan is a 30-day rolling contract, with no 12 or 24-month lock-in, which is why it reads as a student plan even though nothing about it is restricted to students.

How VOXI compares to other mobile networks

VOXI's unlimited social media data sets it apart from giffgaff, SMARTY, and Three. giffgaff is cheaper but lacks social media perks. VOXI's Trustpilot rating is lower than giffgaff and SMARTY, reflecting mixed customer service experiences.
