Zzoomm referral code: get £75 in cash
Join Zzoomm through a referral link and both you and the referrer get £75, paid as cash into a bank account rather than as bill credit or a gift card. There is no cap on referrals.
Two things separate this from the other broadband schemes on this site, and they pull in opposite directions. The reward is cash and it is the joint-highest here after Quickline. The wait is the longest of any scheme we cover: confirmation starts from 60 working days after your first direct debit clears, which is roughly four months from install before anything moves. Zzoomm also rules out combining the referral with any other promotional offer, so it is worth checking what you would be giving up. I registered as a referrer on 7 August 2026 and re-checked the link on 8 August 2026.

Reward
Get £75 in cash to your bank account when you join Zzoomm through a referral link, with the same £75 going to the person who referred you
How it works
- Check your address on Zzoomm's coverage checker, since the network is town by town
- Order through the referral link, because only orders placed through it count
- Get installed and stay connected for at least 15 days
- Pay your first bill by direct debit, since account credit and vouchers do not count
- Reward confirmation follows from 60 working days after that first direct debit, then transfers to your bank

Zzoomm
Zzoomm is a full-fibre broadband provider built around English market towns rather than big cities, competing with the incumbent copper networks in places large enough to be worth building and small enough to have been served late. Its refer-a-friend scheme pays cash into a bank account rather than bill credit or a gift card, which is rare in UK broadband, and it runs on Aklamio, a third-party rewards platform.

My rating for this deal
This rates the Zzoomm referral itself: what you get, what you have to do to get it, and how long it takes to arrive. It isn’t a rating of Zzoomm as a company.
Why this rating
Paid in cash rather than credit or a gift card, which is unusual in broadband and worth more than the headline suggests. It rates below Quickline on reach alone: Zzoomm builds market towns, so the number of readers who can act on this is small.

Zzoomm referral pros and cons
Pros
- £75 in cash to a bank account, not bill credit or a gift card
- No cap: Zzoomm's own words are “You can recommend as many friends as you'd like”
- The referrer's rate rises to £100 per referral past five referrals
- 15 days connected is a short qualifying period, behind only toob's 14 days
- Built for market towns, where the realistic alternative is often the incumbent copper network
- Registration at the rewards portal took an email address, with no account details requested
Cons
- Reward confirmation starts from 60 working days after your first direct debit, the longest wait of any scheme we cover
- It cannot be combined with any other Zzoomm promotional offer, so a launch deal and the £75 are mutually exclusive
- The first bill must be paid by direct debit: account credit and vouchers do not count
- Zzoomm's own page directs referrers to sign in with the email on their Zzoomm account
- Only orders placed through the referral link count, with no way to attach one afterwards
- Coverage is town by town, so a nearby town being connected tells you nothing about yours
How long the Zzoomm reward actually takes
The new customer must be installed for at least 15 days and must have paid a first bill by direct debit. Reward confirmation then starts from 60 working days after that payment, so roughly three months passes between the first bill and the money being confirmed.

Zzoomm's own wording is “Est. reward confirmation: from 60 working days after your first direct debit payment.” Sixty working days is about twelve weeks, and that clock does not start at installation, it starts at the first direct debit clearing.
Direct debit specifically. Zzoomm excludes account credit and vouchers from counting as that first payment, so paying the opening bill another way restarts the wait rather than shortening it.
Added together, a realistic timeline from install to confirmed reward is around four months. That is worth knowing before switching on the strength of the £75, and it is the longest wait of any of the broadband schemes we cover: toob is eligible at 14 days and Quickline at 21.
Once confirmed, the money transfers to a bank account through the rewards platform, as cash rather than credit against the bill.
The offer you have to give up to take the £75
Zzoomm states that the referral scheme cannot be used alongside any other promotional offer or scheme. If Zzoomm is running a launch deal or a discounted introductory price in your town, taking it rules out the referral reward, and the two have to be compared directly.

Zzoomm's words: “Cannot be used in conjunction any other promotional offer or scheme.”
No other broadband brand on this site carries that restriction, and it turns the reward into a comparison rather than a bonus. A £75 cash reward against, say, three months at a reduced price is a straightforward sum, and which one wins depends entirely on what Zzoomm is promoting in your town when you order.
Work out both numbers before you order, not after. The referral has to be attached at the point of ordering through the link, so there is no path where you take the promotional price and add the referral later if the maths turns out badly.
Who can refer someone to Zzoomm?
Zzoomm's refer-a-friend page tells people to sign up with the email address linked to their Zzoomm account. Its rewards portal, when we registered in August 2026, asked for an email address and did not request any Zzoomm account details.

Zzoomm's refer-a-friend page tells people to sign up with the email address linked to their Zzoomm account. Its rewards portal, when we registered in August 2026, asked for an email address and did not request any Zzoomm account details.
These are two different observations and both belong on the page.
What Zzoomm publishes. Its refer-a-friend page says: “Sign-up with the email address linked to your Zzoomm account.” Read strictly, that is an instruction about which email address to use. Read as a rule, it is a customer requirement, and an August 2026 sweep of 44 UK broadband providers filed Zzoomm as customer-gated on that sentence.
What the registration actually did. On 7 August 2026 the rewards portal asked for an email address. It did not ask for an account number, a service address, or an email matched against a Zzoomm account, and it issued a referral link.
The sentence sits on a page written for Zzoomm customers, telling them where their link comes from, which is consistent with what the form does. Airband runs on the same rewards platform with no customer requirement stated at all, and Virgin Media runs on it with an explicit one, so the platform decides nothing here either way.
What a Zzoomm customer says about it
A friend in Crowthorne switched from Plusnet, which they disliked for poor customer service and repeated connectivity problems, and is happy with the change. That is their account rather than our testing.

Zzoomm has no Which? assessment, so a household on the network is the best available product signal.
What they left is as informative as what they joined: the complaint about Plusnet was service and reliability rather than price, which is the same shape as the Quickline switcher who came off BT and the Airband household who came off Sky. Across the four regional networks on this site, the reports we have all describe leaving an incumbent over reliability, not headline speed.
One household, not a review. We have not used Zzoomm. Its Trustpilot page is linked above for volume.
Where Zzoomm reaches
English market towns rather than cities or open countryside. Zzoomm builds town by town, so coverage is decided by whether your specific town has been built and then by whether your street within it has.
Where Zzoomm reaches
English market towns rather than cities or open countryside. Zzoomm builds town by town, so coverage is decided by whether your specific town has been built and then by whether your street within it has.
That build pattern is why a coverage answer for one town says nothing about the next one along, and why a check that failed a year ago is worth repeating.
Zzoomm's own coverage checker is the only reliable test. Confirm the live town list there rather than trusting any list published elsewhere, this page included.
If your town is not on it, the other networks we cover are Quickline in rural Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the Humber, Airband across Devon, Wales and the west, toob around Southampton, and Hyperoptic in city apartment blocks.
