Part 1
Incard is a business-only fintech, so this referral is for UK business owners (e-commerce sellers, agencies and creators), not consumers. Sign up through the referral link and you get boosted 2x cashback for your first 60 days plus a fast-tracked application review.
Incard is an FCA-authorised e-money institution, not a bank, so your money is safeguarded rather than FSCS-protected. I am upfront about why this page exists: Incard pays a £250 bounty to Referral Plug when a referred business deposits £10,000 within 90 days, and I do not hide that. I confirmed the reward terms below from Incard's in-app referral screen in July 2026. Incard publishes no referral amounts on a public page, and I have not yet verified first-hand that the payout lands, so treat these as Incard's stated offer, not a tested payout.

3.4 / 5
This rates the Incard referral itself: what you get, what you have to do to get it, and how long it takes to arrive. It isn’t a rating of Incard as a company.
The referrer bounty is the largest on the site by some distance, big enough that a business with the deposit to spare should read the terms properly. It rates low because the two sides are so unequal: that bounty is gated on a deposit most sole traders will never make, the reader’s own side is a temporary perk rather than money, and I have not yet seen this one pay.
Part 2
Incard is an FCA-authorised e-money institution (not a bank) for online businesses. It offers multi-currency business accounts, corporate and virtual cards, cashback, and 42-day 0% flex cards. Funds are safeguarded, not FSCS-protected. It raised a £10m Series A led by Smartfin in February 2026.
The FCA (opens in new tab) firm reference is 1027309. Safeguarding means client funds are ringfenced under e-money rules; it is not the £85,000 deposit guarantee, and the two are easy to confuse.
The track record is thin. The public product launched in 2024, the EMI licence arrived in December 2025, and the 4.7 on Trustpilot rests on 32 reviews.
This is a B2B product. It is here because the refer-a-friend reward is worth flagging for business owners, not because it is a consumer account.
Incard is for UK business owners with a real trading business: e-commerce sellers, agencies and creators. Consumers and most sole traders without a genuine business generally cannot qualify, because onboarding runs KYB (know-your-business) checks. If you want a personal account, look at Monzo or Starling instead.
Incard is for you if:
Incard is not for you if:
The referral is a niche business perk, not a mainstream sign-up bonus.
The referral gives the new customer boosted 2x cashback for 60 days and a fast-tracked application review. Referral Plug earns £250 when a referred business deposits £10,000 within 90 days. I confirmed these terms from Incard's in-app referral screen in July 2026. Incard publishes no referral amounts publicly, and I have not yet verified the payout first-hand.
The 2x cashback is tied to the referral rather than being Incard's general welcome offer, so it is a real perk for signing up through the link: https://app.incard.com/r/qgAnTA.
What is not confirmed is whether either side pays out. The in-app screen is the only source there is, and a genuine third-party sign-up is still to come. I would rather show you the seams than pretend this is a scheme I have personally banked a reward from. If the payout does not materialise on a real sign-up, this page reverts to paused.
Tide is the closest UK analog: a business account with a refer-a-friend reward, also e-money rather than FSCS-protected. Wise Business is stronger for multi-currency payments; Revolut Business for scale and spend management. Incard's angle is cashback and flex credit for online sellers, plus the referral perks, but with the thinnest track record of the four.
None of the four is a bank offering FSCS deposit protection on business balances the way a high-street business account would.
