The same shape as the Octopus scheme with one advantage that matters more than it sounds: it pays in a retail voucher rather than bill credit, so the money leaves the energy account. E.ON Next also paid me twice as a referrer after my account had lapsed, which most schemes quietly stop doing.

Next Drive is measured against a standard rate of approximately 24.7p/kWh, and the £500 assumes a typical EV driver covering 8,000 miles a year. The window is fixed, so the car has to be set to charge inside it.
Next Drive Smart dispatches to the cheapest half-hour slots across the whole day rather than a fixed window, which is why it needs a compatible smart charger on top of the smart meter. It carries the lowest peak rate of any major EV tariff.
E.ON Next also offers a charger + tariff bundle for customers who need a home charger installed.
